Through Gong Fu, you’ll notice the delicate changes of the tea in 5 steeps, adding new dimensions in every sip.

Join us for an immersive experience of iconic Ming Dynasty style tea brewing, Gongfu Cha 功夫茶. Unique and exquisite, the traditional aesthetics of Ming Dynasty tea drinking emphasized neatness, simplicity, and elegance to create a solemn sense of ceremony with a tranquil atmosphere. This harmonious way of tea allows for what's most important to come forward: slowing down to focus on the tea's true taste and quality.
The combination of well-curated tea, professional brewing, and the Tea Master's focused energy become one, bringing wonderful experiences and relaxing feelings to tea lovers. Once we finish the tea, you will enjoy a small traditional tea pastry and leave with a sample of tea so that you can continue your exploration at home.

Join us for an immersive experience of unique and beautiful Song Dynasty whisked tea 點茶. Evolving from the boiled, medicinal roots of the Tang Dynasty, tea culture bloomed and was refined in the Song Dynasty— a time of poetry, deep thought, philosophy, and pursuing the arts. The delicate powdered tea is whisked over seven rounds, the Tea Master's hand becoming one with the bamboo whisk, as the tea transforms and transcends its natural earthy essence into silky, smooth foam 茶乳 what is known as the milk of the tea.
This highly intricate process reveals the tea's pure, earthy taste while also inviting the soft, silky, and pearlescent froth to the surface. It's truly the most beautiful taste that just melts in your mouth. Once we finish the tea, you will enjoy a small traditional tea pastry and leave with a sample of tea so that you can continue your exploration at home.

Originating 600 years ago during the Ming Dynasty, this traditional tea ceremony is an exquisite ritual celebrating the union of tea and nature. The whole arrangement—the teaware, art, calligraphy, incense, and music—is all very important in the tea ceremony. In mindful union with the tea’s Qi, the tea master curates an energetic state of genuine harmony that settles the participants’ physical and mental bodies, beckoning their souls to emerge with the tea’s.

Whisked tea blossomed as an expression of the Song aristocracy's pursuit of elegance; deep philosophy, literature, art, and science freely flourishing alongside tea culture. This intricate and mesmerizing ritual involves whisking Private Collection White Tea powder into a delicate, silken snow-like foam. Only the highest quality tea powder, proper technique, intuitive wisdom of the tea master, and perfectly crafted teaware will yield a foam of beautiful froth. Our Tea Master Olivia’s diligent and heartfelt mastery of this ancient practice provides a rare glimpse into imperial life during Chinese tea culture’s peak of elegance.

We are truly humbled and inspired by the 2000 year old saying deep in traditional tea culture: “Tea and Zen are one flavor.” Tea has a very long history in China, beginning in the Tang Dynasty. Tea was boiled in the Tang Dynasty and then whisked in the Song Dynasty into the most beautiful tasting tea that embodied the high-quality life of the royal family and aristocrats. The noble and elegant craftsmanship of the Gong Fu style brewing in the Ming Dynasty brought more joy and happiness to people's lives.
